Because it would be dishonest. The real price depends on things that can only be seen by going to the pool: the actual condition of the equipment, whether a shock treatment is needed before starting, accessibility, or whether the pool shell has any structural problem. We'd rather give you an honest range and then confirm it with a visit, than give you an attractive figure that doesn't hold up once we arrive.
