It’s the room, usually sunk into the ground next to the pool, that holds the equipment keeping the water clean: the pump moves it, the filter cleans it and the chlorinator (or dosing system) disinfects it.
Most water problems aren’t visible in the pool but here: a filter that hasn’t been backwashed for months, a strainer full of leaves or a scaled-up cell. That’s why on every visit we don’t just test the water: we also look at the equipment.
